ABOUT ME
My name is Ari Star, and I am autistic. I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome in 2010 when I was 9. As of 2013, Aspergers falls under the category of Autism Spectrum Disorder.

I had many challenges in school, but through the support of my parents, teachers and psychologists, I eventually found strategies to help me learn ways that work better for me. After completing a research project on Autism in year 11, I found that my passion lies in passing on strategies that helped me navigate the standardised education system.
By drawing on students' special interests and tactile learning styles, I will support them to learn to their full potential and re-ignite their confidence to learn. I am also passionate about advocating for students who are not receiving adequate support in school.
